  3. BEWARE! Orvis has changed this fly selection considerably for 08. The new selection is JUNK compared to the old one. (look at the pic on this site, and then compare it to the pic on the orvis link for specifics)

    My guess is they went from using local USA tiers, to cheap African labor factories. I know the new ones are tied in Kenya. I don’t know where they were tied previously(suspect USA from the quality), but the difference is night and day! I used to buy a dozen of these selections every spring to stock up on the most heavily used flies in my arsenal. I recently purchased 6 of the new ones, and they are ALL going back. BOO ORVIS!
